This page explains what happens to your information when you visit this website. Short version: the page doesn't ask for personal details, and we use analytics only to see how the page is used, not to identify you.

1. Who we are

This website is an independent promotional page for a VPN app, run by Northfield Media. We are not the app's provider, and we don't provide the VPN service ourselves. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What this page does with your information

• No accounts and no forms. We don't ask for your name, email address, payment details or any other personal information.
• Quiz answers aren't tied to you. The three-question quiz runs in your browser. If we record how people answer, it is as anonymous counts (for example, how many people picked "public Wi-Fi"), never linked to your name or contact details. See section 5.
• Operating system label. Your browser tells the page which operating system you use, so the button can say "for Windows", "for macOS" or "for Linux". This happens on your device.
• No cookies or local storage from the page's own code. The page doesn't save data in your browser by itself. The analytics and tracking tools described below may use cookies or similar identifiers.

3. Information we may receive automatically

Like any website, the server that delivers this page may record your IP address, browser and device type, the address of the page or ad you came from, and the time of your visit. This information is kept in server logs by our hosting provider and is used to keep the site secure, fix problems and understand how many people visit.

4. Ad clicks and referral tracking

If you arrive from an advertisement, the ad platform may pass an anonymous click identifier in the page address. When you click a button on this page, we forward that identifier in the link so that the visit can be credited to us as a referral. The tracking link and the provider's website may set their own cookies to do this. We may also look at aggregated numbers, such as visits and clicks, to see which pages work.

5. Analytics

We collect analytics to understand how this page is used and to improve it. This may include:

• pages viewed, how long visits last, and how far people scroll;
• the site or ad you came from, and campaign parameters in the page address;
• your browser, device type, operating system and screen size;
• your approximate location (country or region), worked out from your IP address;
• clicks on buttons and links, including the main buttons;
• interactions with the quiz and the "VPN on / off" demo, such as which options were chosen.

This data doesn't include your name, email address or payment details, and we don't try to identify you personally with it. We use analytics and tracking tools from third-party providers to collect and process it. These tools may use cookies, pixels or similar technologies, and they act on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Other websites

The buttons on this page take you to the provider's official website. From that point the provider's own privacy policy applies to anything you do there, including creating an account or signing up. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites.

7. Do we sell your information?

No. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own advertising.

8. How long we keep it

Server logs and analytics data are kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized. Aggregated statistics don't identify you.

9. Your choices and rights

You can block cookies in your browser settings, or use a tracking-protection or Global Privacy Control setting, and this page will keep working. You can also opt out of analytics and advertising cookies through your browser, through the settings offered by the tools involved, or through industry opt-out pages such as those from the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out where the law requires.

Depending on where you live, including California and other US states, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. 10. Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how this page handles information, we'll update this policy and the date at the top.
